Vikes’ McCarthy out with hairline fracture in hand

Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy has a “very small” hairline fracture in his right hand and will be sidelined for Thursday’s Christmas Day game against the Lions, coach Kevin O’Connell said Tuesday.
