Matt Ryan came through in a clutch moment for the Celtics during Monday’s Summer League game. Ryan sank the game-winning shot to beat the Milwaukee Bucks 111-109.
Just a year ago, Ryan was a Door Dash driver, after his NBA contract had been waived by the Denver Nuggets.
“It’s pretty emotional,” Ryan, 25, said in a post-game interview. “It’s been a crazy 11 months. I was home for a year and a half. I don’t know if you guys heard my story, but I was driving DoorDash a year ago.”
“To be here, to be a part of the Boston Celtics is special. It’s special,” he added.
