Washington Nationals Detail “Ryan Zimmerman Weekend” Celebration this June

The Washington Nationals will honor former star Ryan Zimmerman for two days this summer, June 17-18, on “Ryan Zimmerman Weekend.”

Zimmerman, a former star at Kellam High in Virginia Beach, retired this spring after 16 seasons.

‘Ryan Zimmerman Weekend’ will include fan giveaways, appearances by former players, and Zimmerman’s official jersey retirement ceremony prior to Saturday’s game, which has been moved back to 4:35 p.m. to accommodate the festivities.
