Throughout the years, baseball fans have been able to enjoy fries, nachos and ice cream out of a baseball hat and last week, the Rochester Red Wings took it a step further.
The Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals introduced fans to a beer bat. The plastic baseball bat-shaped mugs filled with frosty brew and they were a big hit — pun intended.

Due to the unexpected popularity and about half of the bats having holes in them, the stadium ran out very quickly and many fans were shut out.
But as the Red Wings shared, ‘Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.’
