Spaun captures first major title, wins U.S. Open

J.J. Spaun, 34, who started Sunday one stroke behind 54-hole leader Sam Burns, survived a terrible start and challenging elements to pull away from the pack and capture his first major title with a two-stroke win in the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club.
