Virginia Beach Public Library Summer Reading Challenge 2020
Children and Teens: Each week, readers that complete 3 activities will unlock the activity badge and be entered to win coupons to food venues that offer drive-through or take-out. The coupons will be mailed to each winner’s home until our buildings reopen.

Adults: Reading Road Trip
Set out on a reading journey with VBPL in 2020. Read 25 books to get a decal and chances to win our grand prizes. Don’t stop at 25 because the more books you read, the more chances you have to win! Optionally, complete the “Roadside Attractions” badge by reading a book from each of our themed book lists. You can also earn a “Pit Stops” badge by participating in activities throughout the year for additional chances to win prizes.

A random winner will be drawn every Monday (June 29, July 6, 13, 20, 27) from all entries received during the Summer Reading Challenge. At the end of the program on August 1st, four (4) Grand Prize winners will be drawn from all entries received from all four branches. Winners will be notified by phone or e-mail.

Participants may win one of the weekly prizes, but only those who complete the 6-hour program will be eligible to win one of the four Grand Prizes.
