Richie Summerville is the executive producer of the Tony Mercurio Show on ESPN Radio 94.1. In addition, he is the studio engineer for Old Dominion University men and women's basketball and Norfolk Tides baseball. Summerville also hosts the popular High School Football Scoreboard Show on Friday nights.
Summerville, a graduate of Clarion University and Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, Va., has been with ESPN Radio 94.1 since August 1, 1991. He was Sports Director of WCUC-FM in Charion, PA, where he was the voice of the Golden
Eagle football and basketball teams. WCUC was judged #1 in the state of PA, by the AP in 1989.

Born in Syracuse, New York, Richie loves Pittsburgh pro sports teams, Michigan Football and Syracuse Basketball (besides Old Dominion) He also did the RPI for Womens College Basketball, the official RPI system used by the Womens Basketball Coaches Association.
In his free time Summerville likes to play poker. He "thinks" he is a good player and you might catch him at a table around Hampton Roads. It's even possible you might see him in his kayak on the water so boaters beware! He also likes to study history, in particular the Civil War, and research his family genealogy.
